We have just spent the last week here and have enjoyed every minute. Clean, quiet, relaxing with all the amenities you need right at your doorstep. No need to hire a car. Bus passes right out the front to Surfers and Theme Parks. The patrolled beach is 1 block away and every cuisine imaginable is right within walking distance (even crappy ol Maccas if you can't live without it). Woolworths around the corner and Pacific Fair Shopping Center a few more down. We'll be back. Great locale!!!

very helpful staff, it's a shame they have to work under what is clearly terrible management... sorry, that's all I have for this place, I also experienced an out of order safe, meaning the security of my valuable was at stake and the mantra group is just so up themselves... a shout out to the lower level staff who should be paid the higher level wages, I really hope The board at Mantra reads this for themselves!.

Just went there few weeks ago, truly awesome feeling. I would go again next time. The food, rooms and their hospitality is superb. Next time I would go with my family and friends and will rock the coming events... :)

Supposedly, the Mantra Phoenician is a 4-star hotel. Doesn't feel like it. Perhaps a few quotes from the "Welcome" letter will help provide some context around my feeling: 1. "The apartments are not serviced daily. If your booking is for 8 nights or more, you will receive a Mid-Stay Service, including change of linen/towels." 2. "Extra linen can be hired from reception at an additional cost." 3. "On departure, we kindly ask that all rubbish within the unit is removed to the chute located on each level prior to check out. Also, to avoid excessive cleaning charges it is asked that you clean any dishes that you may have utilised during your stay." 4. "The apartment safes within the building are currently Out Of Order, and management are in the process of having them replaced. Apologies for any inconvenience." I've never stayed anywhere with these types of policies before, let alone a hotel that is supposedly 4-star! The plus side was that the one staff member we dealt with during our stay was very helpful & friendly. The Service rating of 0 is a reflection of the policies rather than the staff.
