I'm not one to complain but my experience yesterday at the Cafe/Bar section had to have been the worst one yet of many others received from this establishment. I mean how disappointing can your lunch get when BOTH food and service quality is below general standards, you could probably find a better overall experience at your local McDonalds! Firstly the waitresses took far too long to serve me and then forgot to rectify my order as I asked for dipping sauce in addition to go with my extremely plain Wagyu Burger with hand cut chips in which the sauce never came to me in the end. The young girl also didn't even check whether I'd enjoyed my meal or not as on this occasion I had to prompt her to explain why I had a half eaten Wagu Burgers left over (which costed $26 mind you) as it tasted like off meat...Upon notifying her I didn't received a simply apology, only that she'd inform their chef which is seriously doubtful... In all seriousness though, basic hospitality skills isn't asking for much and is general practice. By the end I was extremely unhappy and whilst paying for my meal, yet again I felt as if nobody cared. The gentleman behind the cash register was more interested in finalising payment rather then finding out whether their patrons genuinely enjoyed their stay. That alone says enough. All in all I wouldn't even recommend this place to anyone nor will I ever waste my money, more importantly my time, what a disappointment. #goodbyedoylesbridgehotel #neveragain
